We return to the basics of performing under pressure by stepping away from the noise and getting honest with ourselves. We explain why self-control starts with self-awareness and how a few quiet minutes can unlock peace, clarity, and better performance.

Suite Spots:
• our core idea that self-control starts with finding the self
• stepping away from pressure, demands, obligations, and roles
• using a quiet place for reflection on identity, progress, and next steps
• why we miss inner wisdom when we never slow down
• letting go of the need to always be around others
• breathing, stillness, and aloneness as simple tools for calm performance

Quiet Reflection And Inner Wisdom

Stillness For Peace And Performance

SPEAKER_01

Finding self-control really starts with finding the self. Taking a few minutes to isolate yourself from all of the pressures, all of the demands, all of the obligations that drive us to compete, drive us to have to play a role. There are times in life when the only place you can go is to a quiet place. And in that quiet place, begin to reflect on who you are, how far you've come, what you need to get done, and what solutions are out there for you. It's interesting that everything that we need, everything that we want to accomplish, is often inside of ourselves. But we can't hear ourselves if we don't quiet ourselves, if we don't find a place where we can benefit from the deep wisdom that's within us. Take moments to be with yourself and let go of the need to always be in the presence of someone else. So that your deeper wisdom could surface, so that the inner you, the Holy Spirit, the guide, that divine part of yourself can surface. And when that happens, you will have a peace and an ability to perform at higher levels. It's just that simple. Stillness, quiet, self-reflection, moments of aloneness, breathing, and stillness. That's it. That's all you need.
